I disagree that students should fight the intruder at their school. They should leave it to theRead More teachers. Though I do respect that they help the student at their school.

This is such great news! Tango is such a passionate dance and it looks so tough to do. I'll seeRead More about taking a class. Tango is challenging but I'm sure that once I get it, it's exhilarating.

Dancing is such a great way to get exercise and have fun at the same time. I never would haveRead More thought to observe a class first, but it makes perfect sense. And, so many people are intimidated by the idea of dancing that they miss this opportunity for fun.

I think it's great that the kids have a fun project to raise money for their class. I didn't seeRead More ANYTHING negative about this article. I like it. :)

Uh, "Rethinkwaste" is a part of Recology, a profit-making corporation engaged inRead More extracting money from residents they collect garbage from. Why didn't the story clearly identify that?

The first time I saw Huell Howser and his show, I thought he was a goofball especially with hisRead More accent and semi Gomer Pyle like personality. But then I grew to love the show and looked forward to it every time, because here was a guy, a non native of California, who loves and appreciates this state more than anyone else. I liked the fact that he explored the remote, obscure parts of the State and encouraged everyone to visit those places. I hope his show can go on, in some form. Rest in peace, Huell.
Carol Daniels January 8, 2013 at 12:56 am
Oh no! I'll miss watching Huell's TV show. Mr Howser always appeared upbeat and he came acrossRead More genuinely interested in his subjects and gave respect to his interviewees. I learned so much about California from his programs. May he rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his family.

I saw Les Misérables in London, in 1985, before the official opening, so I was one of theRead More first people to see this amazing musical. I almost never go to the movies anymore, so I'll wait until the DVD comes out and I'll probably end up buying it.
