Bethany Presbyterian Church has been in San Bruno since 1956, when it began meeting in the U.S. Navy chapel on the…More old base at Tanforan Park. The church now rests on a hillside on Rosewood Drive near John Muir Elementary School, and has a meditation trail and a hillside meeting space for Easter services.</p> <p>The church also hosts a number of community events, such as its open mic night, which is held every Saturday in the sanctuary.</p> <p>Bethany also houses Mohk Yang Presbyterian Church, which holds services in Korean, and Tam Popo, a Japanese-language preschool for families temporarily living in the U.S.</p>
