Bardi considers herself to be a Public Communicator. Having earned a masters degree in Art Therapy, she is the Chair of the San Bruno Culture & Arts Commission. She is a volunteer segment producer and on-camera interviewer for Senior Moments, a 30-minute San Bruno cable TV program focusing on people over the age of fifty. Bardi is also the PR Chair and board member for the San Francisco/Peninsula Writers Club, a branch of the California Writers Club, and she co-created the Jack London Media Clinic, a public speaking and on-camera training package to help writers promote themselves. She is the Literary Director of the Fine Arts Department, and the visionary behind giving writers a presence and a voice at the San Mateo County Fair. A contributing editor for a private international newsletter and moderator of a health and wellness chat room, Healing is a Journey, she has written numerous short stories, illustrated two book covers, and is the author of three novels, Journey to the Other Side; Bruja; and The Mud-Eater's Apprentice. She is currently working on a series of autobiographical stories entitled Life: Thinly Sliced. Bardi has lived in San Bruno for 30 years with her husband, artist/muralist Boris Koodrin.  Their son Peter is an avid photographer.
